Since 2012, Ingram Micro Nordics has been working with Samhall, a state-owned company whose mission is to create work that furthers the development of people with functional impairment. Ingram Micro uses Samhall workers in their factory and it has been a great partnership. In 2016, Ingram Micro was nominated as Sweden’s employer of the year for its dedication to helping people with disabilities and supporting them in the labor market. Unfortunately, they did not win but it was quite an honor to be nominated.
In cooperation with the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), HNA Group is committed to improving higher education in countries along the “One Belt, One Road,” including Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia and Mauritius. The company plans to invest $5 million over the next five years in higher education programs, with a focus on supporting education in scientific research and engineering.
