Randy Staab, program manager for our Integration Services offering, put his skills as a helicopter pilot to work during Hurricane Harvey in Texas? Randy, a U.S. Naval Academy grad and former Marine Corps pilot, spent three days in Houston flying rescue and supply missions. He and a group of other volunteers filled the gap between the hurricane’s landfall and the arrival of FEMA and other agencies. His best memory: A family who brought dinner to the airfield as a thank you and showed their young children what social responsibility really looks like. The Day Nursery Dornach was initiated by the Ingram Micro Workers Council to help demonstrate our values and show that Ingram Micro is an innovative employer of choice. The new Day Nursery has room for 30 children, including those from our associates, as well as children from the community.
Microsoft Office 2016 ProPlus is coming to your desktop or laptop? The global enterprise roll-out of cloud-based Office 2016 ProPlus just began and continues through March 2018. Previous Office 2010 or 2013 users will enjoy the same great applications they already know, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Additionally, we will be adding Skype for Business to replace Lync. Installation is simple and seamless with few changes required. Over the coming weeks, you will receive important countdown messages with helpful details about the process and tasks you can perform to get ready for your Office 365 implementation.
