On Dec. 6, CEO Alain Monié announced that we completed our merger to become part of HNA Group. Based in Hainan, the southernmost province in China, HNA Group is a global Fortune 500 company with over $90 billion in assets focused on tourism, logistics and financial services. The merger acknowledges the strengths of both companies, providing Ingram Micro with added flexibility and resources to further innovate and accelerate our growth and global reach.
With the transaction concluded, Ingram Micro is now the largest portfolio company of HNA Group in terms of revenue. Adam Tan, vice chairman of the board of directors and CEO of HNA Group, said, “With its well-established supply chain management expertise and broad portfolio of easy-to-use technology solutions, Ingram Micro exemplifies HNA Group’s strategy of investing in companies with strong positions in growing markets in our core areas of focus.”
“The closing of this transaction represents a significant milestone on Ingram Micro’s path to growing our business and providing a full spectrum of global technology and supply chain services to businesses around the world,” said Ingram Micro CEO Alain Monié.

What’s Next?
In the weeks and months ahead, the key phrase will continue to be “business as usual.” With Monié at the helm, our strategic initiatives and commitment to best-in-class service and solutions across the globe do not change. Our teams remain in place across all countries and operations, serving the same vendor and customer partners. Most importantly, our day-to-day activities and operations do not change now that we have joined the HNA Group. “We are resolute on our business strategy and the core values that make Ingram Micro the industry leader,” said Monié in a letter to our customer and vendor partners.
“We are excited to welcome Ingram Micro to the HNA Group family and we look forward to supporting Ingram Micro’s management team and talented associates as they continue to empower their vendor and customer partners to realize the promise of technology, including building on the company’s unparalleled global logistics and supply chain operations,” said Tan.
