From March through May, Ingram Micro hosted a series of ONE events throughout Brazil to introduce new acquisition Grupo Ação to customers and vendors, while reinforcing Ingram Micro’s support for commercial, consumer, cloud and vertical market solutions.
Grupo Ação is a value-added distributor with operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay, with a core technology focus on information technology products and solutions. When acquired in December, Grupo Ação brought Ingram Micro new relationships with strategic vendors, including Oracle, VMware, EMC and Red Hat, while expanding relationships with others such as IBM.
This ONE event offered the opportunity to explore Ingram Micro’s expanded presence by focusing on regional partners in seven cities (click the links for photos):

- March 16–Belo Horizonte
- March 18 –Porto Alegre
- April 13 –Recife
- April 18 –Curitiba
- May 17 – Brasília
Participation included 800 people from 350 resellers, top Ingram Micro and Grupo Ação executives, a broad range of customers, 15 vendors (also acting as event sponsors) and journalists.
The event also launched partner awards for best commercial relationship in 2015 with Ingram Micro and Grupo Ação, which were awarded to 70 partners.
