Europe had a fun and entrepreneurial call to action in Q1 – the “Race for Revenue” – which was highly effective in accelerating revenue growth for the region? Aligned with the EMEA strategy of a winning culture, a focus on profitable revenue growth and a Lean approach towards efficiency, we saw countries throughout the region gain traction as they raced to beat each other for the checkered flag for revenue performance. With creative daily updates for each team and results visible to all, it was a competitive rally. The top three teams won not only bragging rights but prizes, which were available to all associate in the countries, not just in sales roles, as it takes everyone’s contributions to achieve our goals. Taking top honors in the Q1 contest were Iberia, META and the UK. When asked if he and the management team have plans to continue the Race For Revenue beyond Q1, Mark Snider replied that the race is taking a pause, but he was so impressed with everyone’s passion and level of engagement that he will continue to look for unique ways to keep tapping into these winning attributes in the future.
